Praful is pursuing a Master’s in Computational Science and Engineering with Transportation Systems Engineering as a home unit to understand transportation systems and optimize their functioning by leveraging computational methods. He is currently doing research on the relationship between transportation system resilience to climate hazards and social equity. He is passionate about making a positive impact with his research and reducing the existing inequities in the transportation system. Currently, he is also the secretary of ITE@GT student club which is responsible for holding various social and networking events with transportation professionals. Apart from academics, he likes to play cricket, read, and cook in his free time.
