
The Infrastructure Research Group at Georgia Tech (IRG@GT) develops thought-and-action leaders contributing to research, practice and policy on civil infrastructure systems for smart and resilient development that leaves no communities behind. IRG@GT focuses on the study, development and application of systems approaches to create sustainable infrastructure, organizations and communities at various contexts and scales. The Group is directed by Dr. Adjo Amekudzi-Kennedy, Frederick Law Olmsted Professor at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech. The IRG’s expertise and experience includes Infrastructure Asset Management, Transportation Engineering and Planning; Sustainability Modeling, Planning, and Evaluation; Resilience Thinking and Applications; System Performance Management, and Smart Urban and Rural Development.
